The Glass Mat (AGM) battery became widely used in the 90's but this too was based on lead technology . This battery is phenomenal. They run 8-10 hours on 50% trolling speed and at the end of the day are only down 15-20% and the power is constant. The small size is great also. These batteries don’t corrode and stay clean and don’t heat and gas like the lead acid batteries, so much nicer! The only way to go. I highly recommend this battery. Just plain awesome!
